About

Born and raised in Sacramento, California, my passion for artwork began at a very young age. When I was 8 years old, my parents were having a discussion with my grandparents during Thanksgiving. Bored, I decided to wander around and find something more entertaining. I stumbled upon my uncle, who was playing a fantasy game on his computer. I watched him kill a giant dragon, and thought to myself, “That looks so cool! I’m gonna draw it.” That first drawing using crayons and colored paper was where my creative journey began.

As an animation major, I have explored various avenues of storytelling and art. Storyboarding, character design, the Unreal Engine, and writing have presented new opportunities for me to share my stories. Additionally, my minor in production design has taught me much about the production process, and I have gained experience in concept art, set design, and art direction.

The most important part of art is the story it tells and the emotions it evokes. Whether it is joy, happiness, fear, or sadness, art is a conduit for emotions that helps people connect in meaningful ways. My ambition is to help create worlds and fill them with characters that other people can connect with. I hope to build a career around this passion for creating.
